This post is aimed at newer traders. Remember in school, professors teach you about efficient market theory. “That is, one cannot consistently achieve returns in excess of average market returns.” (Wiki) I don’t believe in this. Surely, they are too busy researching and writing to actively trade the market or even follow the fundamentals. Day and position traders believe that if we follow rules, signals, and indicators, e.g. keep losses small and let profits run, then we can capture that 5,000% returns.
Since I left the world of stocks and enter the “futures” market, I created a 49.76% *realized* return over 6.5 trading days.
